Head over to the Grasa Mesak blog and congratulate Jo McDougall on the publication and printing of Miguel Nia Jardin, the most recent of her illustrated books for the children of East Timor.
At Grasa Mesak you’ll read of Jo’s plan for 4000 of the print run to go to East Timor and the remaining 1000 copies to be sold here in Australia for $10.00 each, enabling the printing and shipping costs of the East Timorese distribution to be covered.
(The book features English translation as well as East Timorese dialect.)
If you want to buy some copies (and I’d suggest that churches should purchase a number and onsell them themselves) let Jo know there. Any requests that get left here by mistake I’ll pass on.
